Bollywood movie Padman starring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte was released on 9 February of 2018. The film is based on the story ‘The Sanitary Man of Sacred Land’ from the book ‘The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad’ written by Twinkle Khanna. The narration of the story is done by Amitabh Bachchan. The running time of the flick is 140 minutes.
Padman is a biographical movie of Arunachalam Muruganantham from Tamil Nadu who presented low cost sanitary pads.
The movie was well received at box office and entered in to the 100 crore club.
