Mamankam is an upcoming big budget malayalam movie starring Mammootty in the lead and directed by Sajeev Pillai.
The title is borrowed from 1979 Prem Nazir movie Maamaankam.
This movie will be the third movie for Mammootty to act in a malabar folk. He previously acted in Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha in 1989 and Pazhassi Raja in 2010.
There are plans to release the film in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. And also many stars from other languages are part of the cast.
The film is expected to release in 2020.
