The official teaser of tamil movie Kaappaan was released by Lyca Productions in youtube.
The movie features Suriya in lead roles. Its a political thriller movie. Mohanlal, Arya, Samuthirakani, Boman Irani and Sayyeshaa are also part of the film. The movie is directed by K V Anand and music is composed by Harris Jayaraj. The film is scheduled to release in August 2019.
Mohanlal is seen as Prime minister of India which is an extended cameo role in the film. Suriya is presented in different roles. What exactly he is not predictable. From the starting to ending of the teaser, glimpses of Suriya setting bomb on a train, which blasts at the end, is shown.
At the end of the teaser, Suriya asks a question "If protesting is wrong, Isn't creating situation for the protest is worng too?" Where as one official counters his question by saying "How can you speak like Naxal?"
Kaappaan is the 37th movie of Suriya and expectation is too high especially because of the cast and story line.
