Ittymaani: Made in China revolves around Chinese-born Indian who moved to Kunnankulam, Thrissur at the age of 10. After the death of his father, he takes up the responsibility of his family. The film directed and written by Jibi-Joju was produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas.

The film mainly received mostly negative reviews criticizing the duration and the poor storyline. As Usual Mohanlal delivered a brilliant performance. Honey Rose, K. P. A. C. Lalitha, Aju Varghese, Raadhika, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Salim Kumar and Siddique have done justice to their roles.
