Meg starring Jason Statham was released on August 10, 2018. The movie was directed by Jon Turteltaub and produced & directed by Warner Bros. Pictures.The flick is made based on a book released in 1997 of same title. The movie opens with Jonas Taylor(Jason Statham) rescuing sailors struck in a damaged submarine. He was in a position to leave other two rescuers in submarine as the situation is critical. Jonas was blamed for not saving his team mates during the rescue operation. After 5 years he was called by some oceanographers to save a team struck underwater due to an attack by a big sea creature. Later story goes like they identifies the big sea creature is the largest shark known as Megalodon which is considered to be extinct. They team up to create a trap and kill it as it is creating lots of damages. The running time is 113 minutes. The movie received average response from audience.
