Facebook users are currently frustrated as they are not able to login to their social networking site.
There is a link named "Read more" in the message displayed in login page where they have placed required information for the reason for maintenance break.
There is nothing to fear on account security or loosing of account. This just a temporary issue as they are working on improvement of database.
This issue wont happen for all accounts at a time.
So the facebook is expected to be back soon as many users are waiting to login.
